MOC products include alumina-based catalysts and many other metal oxide-supported catalysts. Applied Catalysts offers several MOC products for Chemical Processes tailored to chemical applications. MOC products offer advantages as it can be used in both reductive and oxidative environments. Other advantages include high strength, attrition resistance, and tunable surface properties for various applications.

Our Process for MOC Catalysts

Catalysts on metal oxide supports (Alumina, Titania, mixed-metal oxides, etc.) can be used for many chemistries. These can be provided as particulate catalysts or as wash-coated monoliths. Applied Catalysts has an extensive database of known catalytic applications which utilize MOC products. We can help you screen and select the right MOC for your application and scale the catalyst for commercial use.

Metal oxide-supported catalysts (MOC) can be manufactured from many different oxide compositions, surface area/ pore volume, and promoters. Standard products include Alumina-Pd, Alumina-Ni, Alumina-Pt, Alumina-Rh, Alumina-Co, and Alumina- Ru at various wt% loadings. In some cases, the MOC support is the active catalyst.
